2023-24 Fall/Spring Elks Soccer Registration

STANDARD PROGRAM: ** For players with birth dates on/before 8/31/2018 **

*** The Elks Youth Soccer Club will implement a co-ed format starting with the Fall 2023 session. This format change will take place in age divisions in which the number of players registered does not support enough teams within a given grade level in both the girls and boys groups. This change will help to reduce the amount of cross age division play and provide more variety of opponents for the teams within the age divisions. Decisions regarding which age divisions will move to the co-ed format will take place once registration closes.***

New Elks players must submit a birth certificate. Returning players with a birth certificate already on file are NOT required to submit a birth certificate again. Registration is subject to cancellation if the birth certificate is not submitted timely.

Most games are played on Saturdays, with game times at 10:00, 11:10, 12:20, 1:30, 2:40. Weeknight games are possible depending on scheduling for league size, rainouts, etc., and are usually played on Monday evenings starting at 5:30pm.

In our Standard program, each player is assigned to an age-grouped team with a volunteer coach. Volunteer coaches are always needed, and coaches receive discounted registration for their child/children. Registration fee includes league fees, IYSA registration and IYSA insurance fee, and team shirt.

When registering, you will see three options:

• 2023-24 Fall & Spring Registration ($100)

• 2023 Fall ONLY Registration ($70)

• 2024 Spring ONLY Registration ($70)

First games of the Fall season are anticipated to be on 9/23/2023. Once registration closes in August, teams will be established and coaches will contact players regarding practice dates/times prior to the first weekend of games.

Standard registration will close 8/23/2023 (late registration charge applies starting 8/24/2023). We need time to get all team rosters set so that coaches can communicate practice schedules, game schedules can be developed, team shirts ordered, etc., so it is vital that we have all players registered by this date. Final determination of teams will be based on numbers of registered players in each age division.
Late registrations (after 8/23/2023) will be accepted based on availability of a roster spot and are ineligible for discounts. Late registrations will incur a $30 late fee per child.

SIBLING DISCOUNT CODE:

Siblings, registered under the same parent account, will need to enter the following code for each registration to receive a $15 per player sibling discount. The siblings must ALL register for the full year (Fall & Spring) to be eligible for the discount. Sibling discount does not apply to the Juniors program and is not available for late registrations.

JUNIORS PROGRAM (CO-ED): ** For players with birth dates between 9/1/2018 and 8/31/2020 **

A learning program for our up-and-coming little athletes before being eligible for the Standard program. Players will need shinguards, a size 3 ball, and water at each weekly clinic. Cleats are optional but helpful.

New Elks players must submit a birth certificate. Returning players with birth certificate already on file are NOT required to submit a birth certificate again. Registration is subject to cancellation if birth certificate is not submitted timely.

The Juniors program is a clinic-style program that meets once per week for six sessions in Fall and six sessions in Spring. Juniors players are not assigned to a "team" but rather will be separated into smaller groups to do drills, skills practice, scrimmage matches, etc. Registration fee includes the weekly sessions, a Juniors shirt, and IYSA registration and insurance fees.
